10th January, Thursday, Weston Village Gardening Club, Weston All Saints Church. Visitors are welcome; the meeting starts at 7.30 with refreshments available from 7.15. Alice Palfrey, the youngest of the National Trust's Head Gardeners, will give a talk entitled 'Restoration and Recent Developments at Prior Park Landscape Gardens. Since the NT took over the gardens in 1993 the aim has been to restore the Georgian landscape to its 1764 splendour ,as it looked at the time of its creator Ralph Allen's death. Ongoing projects include work on the original 18th century dams to make them fit for the 21st century.

14th January, Monday, 2.30pm-4pm. The Beechen Cliff 'Parent and toddler group' meets every Monday from 2.30pm to 4pm. We welcome everyone to come along to have fun, play and sing.  Snacks, toys and craftwork are provided to add to the fun. £1 per family. Come along and join us.
